Winter weather travel advisory in place
Hazard:
Rapidly increasing snowfall. Snowfall amounts of 10-20 cm are expected by Wednesday night. At times, snowfall rates up to 3 cm per hour may be possible.

Through Wednesday evening
Discussion:
A developing low pressure system will bring large amounts snow to the area. Light snow is expected this afternoon and into the evening, before intensifying tonight. Wednesday night may see additional snowfall.
Impacts:
If visibility is reduced while driving, slow down and look for tail lights ahead. The accumulation of snow can make it difficult to navigate surfaces such as roads, walkways, parking lots, and highways. In heavy snow, visibility may be affected suddenly. Road closures may be possible.
