Adirondack Journal of Environmental Studies calls for submissions
TheAdirondack Journal of Environmental Studies(AJES) is accepting submissions for Volume 25, Submissions are due by March 1, 2022. For review, articles of broad disciplinary scope will also be accepted, including topics in the natural and social sciences and arts, as well as general environmental issues. We are open to articles in the following categories: Commentary, Scholarship, Student Work, Commentary and a new section, Spotlight on Adirondack Archives.
Vol. Articles that are included in the new Spotlight Section will be given 25. These articles will allow ADK researchers to connect with organizations with important research collections. We invite libraries and museums to send brief highlights of their archives.
AJES is a peer reviewed journal that was jointly produced by the Adirondack Research Consortium (ARC) and Union Collage. It is intended to promote dialogue on a wide range of issues that relate to the Adirondacks or Northern Forest. AJES bridges the gap between academic disciplines and practitioners who are dedicated to understanding and promoting sustainable communities, both wild and human. The journal is not intended to be a platform for any one or particular point of view. AJES welcomes contributions that reflect a wide range and a broad range of perspectives.
