The Toolkit for Integrating Migration in Environment and Climate Change Interventions is one of several tools developed under Mainstreaming Migration into International Cooperation and Development. This project was funded by EU and implemented by IOM in partnership with UN Environment Programme and United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
It is designed to provide partners with concise, operational and user-friendly information to help them understand how migration can be reflected into the design, implementation monitoring and evaluation of development cooperation interventions. Projects or programmes that are centered on climate change and the environment. The tools can easily be adapted to different contexts to enhance development cooperation. This includes harnessing the development potential for migration and ensuring that any opportunities and challenges are fully assessed.
This Toolkit was created for international cooperation and development actors who work in the environment and climate change sector. Although the Toolkit is primarily intended for international cooperation actors and development actors, it can also serve other partners who are involved in designing, implementing and/or evaluating interventions.
