Applied Graphene Materials PLC claims that Environment Agency uses coatings on flood defenses in English

This milestone is significant in AGM’s customer use of graphene-enhanced coated coatings systems, the company stated.

Applied Graphene Materials PLC [AIM:AGM], OTCQX :APGMF] stated that the Environment Agency, EA, completed the first application its harsh environment anticorrosion products on one of its flood defence assets along the North East coast.

The coastal flood defence gates were coated in AGM’s new graphene enhanced Geneable CX-based anticorrosion primer.

A statement stated that this is a significant milestone in customer usage of AGM’s graphene enhanced coatings systems for corrosion prevention in harsh coastal environments. This coating is just one of many planned uses for the system.

Adrian Potts (chief executive officer) stated that he is excited by the opportunity of engaging with England’s Environment Agency.

AGM London said that the use of its product is the culmination 18 months of extensive testing and evaluation of anticorrosion performance for salt-spray immersion in harsh test conditions.
