According to the Environment Agency, hundreds of homes and businesses were affected by three severe storms that struck the UK within a few days.
It said that around 400 properties were submerged by Storms Dudley and Eunice in different parts of the country.
Homes in Shropshire (Yorkshire) and Wales were among the victims.
The Environment Agency warned Tuesday that there was still a high risk of flooding in certain areas after the three storms.
Katharine Smith, flood duty manager at Flood Duty, stated that heavy rains, which will affect already wet areas, could cause significant river flooding along River Severn in the coming days.
