Role Description
About the Role
As part of the Constructing A Digital Environment programme, Cranfield University’s Natural Environment Research Council will employ you. This role involves working with our team to plan, deliver and monitor activities that advance and embed emerging environmental data science approaches within UK’s environmental science community and other stakeholders. This role will involve interaction with the funded consortia teams of two waves of feasibility projects and a second round of demonstrator project, as well as engagement with our Expert Network, which includes early career experts, senior professionals, and international experts.
About You
You will have completed or near completion of a doctoral program in Science or Engineering. Additionally, you will have extensive experience in environmental data science, including the latest technical and statistical developments made in AI and machine-learning as they relate to environmental applications. You will be a leader and have the ability to work with multidisciplinary teams as well as independently to communicate and convey new insights that advance scientific understanding and policy development.
