Coralogix has announced the launch of Snowbit, a cybersecurity venture that aims to help cloud-native businesses manage their security environments.
Snowbit’s Managed Extended Detection and Response (MxDR) incorporates a SaaS platform and expert services. The platform gives organizations a comprehensive view of their cloud environment’s security and compliance (CIS,NIST, SOC, PCI, ISO, HIPAA). Snowbit also offers expert teams 24×7 to accelerate threat remediation.
Snowbit’s MxDR platform builds on the strengths of the Coralogix data streaming platform. It seamlessly ingests data from a wide range of sources and enriches it. The platform scans your entire cloud environment looking for unusual activity, configuration, network, or vulnerability issues. It automates threat detection, incident response, and machine learning. There are many pre-configured rules, alerts, dashboards, and support to integrate with any orchestration platform.
The MxDR platform is complemented by a team of security analysts, researchers, and DFIR professionals stationed at Snowbit’s 24×7 Security Resource Center. They offer guidance to organizations in order to enable them to respond more quickly to threats that are detected in their environment.
Snowbit was founded by Zack Barak and Navdeep Manaktala, former leaders of Amazon Web Services (AWS). Furthermore, it will have operations across Tel Aviv and New Delhi/Gurgaon to leverage the best of Israeli cybersecurity talent and India’s unique growing position as a global cybersecurity hub.
Navdeep Manaktala, a veteran in the technology industry, has more than 20 years of experience in scaling mobile and cloud businesses at companies like Nokia, Microsoft, AWS, and Microsoft. Most recently, he was at AWS, where he established and led the cloud giant’s startup business comprising tens of thousands of customers across Asia-Pacific & Japan.
Zack Barak is a cybersecurity industry veteran who has 25+ year’s experience in cross-functional experiences with Sygnia Aerospace and Israel Defence Force. Most recently, he was the CISO for Annapurna Labs, an Amazon company.
