Tetra Tech was honored for its first-of-its kind design for an ion-exchange facility for per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances. This facility will support Orange County Water District (OCWD). Chris Olsen, Director Engineering for OCWD said that Tetra Tech has done a fantastic job of providing high-quality PFAS treatment designs in a very short time. It has been a successful partnership.
Tetra Techs support for the U.S. Agency for International Developments’ (USAID) ocean plastic pollution reduction efforts was recognized with an award Climate Change Adaptation & Resilience. Tetra Tech, a USAID trusted partner, has contributed to innovation and applied scientific, evidence based solutions to preserve our marine environments and support global adaptation and mitigation efforts.
Tetra Tech was also recognized for its work on the San Pedro Bay Terminal Clean Truck Program, which replaces older trucks with high exhaust emissions with cleaner, ultra-low emission models. Tim DeMoss from the Port of Los Angeles Environmental Affairs Officer stated that Tetra Tech has been a key part of the Ports Clean Truck Program’s inception.
