RICHMOND, Va.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–ASGN Incorporated (NYSE: ASGN), a leading provider of IT services and solutions, including technology, creative, and digital, across the commercial and government sectors, today announced the release of its third annual Environmental Social Governance (ESG) Report.
Ted Hanson (ASGN’s Chief Executive officer) stated that ASGN made remarkable progress this year in meeting its ESG objectives. He complied with the priorities set forth in the 2020 Report and also introduced new efforts to keep pushing forward our commitment towards sustainability and corporate purpose. ASGN was a corporate participant in UN Global Compact (UNGC) from May 2021. This means that we joined more than 13,000 companies in aligning strategies and operations with universal principles of human rights, labor and anti-corruption. We also leveraged new reporting frameworks such as the Global Reporting Initiative(GRI), Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD), and the UNGCs Communication on Progress. Additionally, we developed comprehensive policies on Anti-Corruption (Board Diversity) and Human Rights.
Hanson stated that ASGN is determined to continue our progress. So, we have established new expectations for 2022. These include a broadening of senior executives and suppliers, standardizing our data security platforms, and bringing ASGN closer to our 2020 baseline on carbon emissions. I couldn’t be prouder of the progress we have made and I want to thank my entire team for their dedication and support to our Company, our clients, and our communities, which has allowed us to achieve our ESG goals.
