Today, Charlie McConalogue TD, the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, and Pippa hackett, the Minister of Land Use and Biodiversity, announced a major investment in a pilot Farm Environmental Study. This pilot will create a framework for the generation of a database at farm-level of habitat and biodiversity data. It will allow for the creation of an inventory of farm habitats, as well as a baseline for future agri-environmental schemes.
