For Saturday night and Sunday, there is a winter travel advisory.
Late this afternoon or into the evening, snow is expected to fall in the area. Peak snowfall rates of 1 to 2% per hour are possible.
Snowfall totals of 5-10 cm are possible by Sunday afternoon.
Traveling may be dangerous tonight and Sunday morning, as untreated surfaces will likely become icy and snowy.
This snow is caused Saturday night by a low-pressure system passing south of Lake Erie. It is not clear where this system will track. The snowfall amounts would be lower if the low pressure system tracks further south.
Motorists should be prepared for winter driving conditions. It is worth delaying non-essential travel until conditions improve.
