Action News Jax reports that Jacksonville’s former head of sports and entertainment created a hostile work environment.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A long awaited investigation into the former head of Jacksonvilles sports and entertainment division has finally been released.

Ryan Ali was placed under paid administrative leave. He resigned in Dec 2020 amid misconduct allegations.

Action News Jaxs Ben Becker received Monday’s 73-page report and here’s what he found:

There were 11 complaints. Four of them were substantiated. This includes violating the city of Jacksonville’s procurement code, creating an hostile work environment, falsifying attendance records, using city-owned equipment for personal purposes, and creating a hostile working environment.

Ali was among the notable appointees of Jacksonville Mayor Lenny Currys who didn’t last long in their positions.
