Are Gas Stoves Harmful for the Environment What We Know

It turns out that gas stoves in America emit 2.6 Million Tonnes of methane each year. This is despite the fact that they aren’t explosive and aren’t flagged as dangerous to indoor air quality by the EPA.

“That’s a big deal because we’re trying to really reduce our carbon footprint and we claim that gas is cleaner than coal, which it is,” the lead author of the study, PSE Healthy Energy scientist Eric Lebel, told AP News.
