Best Workplaces names Bath Fitter a 2022 Best Workplace to Hybrid Work
MONTREAL. March 03, 2022 (GLOBE WIRE) — The COVID-19 Pandemic changed the lives of people all over the globe, and especially in the workplace. It forced businesses and employees to adopt a new way to work. Bath Fitter was quick in adapting, giving employees the opportunity to work remotely starting at the beginning of the pandemic. They also did everything they could to facilitate this transition. Great Place to Work has awarded Bath Fitter recognition for its efforts in enabling hybrid work..
The hybrid work approach has led to increased team productivity in the face of the pandemic, says Sophia Nardelli (Vice President, Human Resources). It works well for our staff as it allows them to mix focused work at home with collaborative work best done in the office environment.
Bath Fitter employees were asked last fall if they would like to return to work full-time after the pandemic. Nardelli says that the overwhelming majority wanted to keep the flexible arrangement that allows employees to work from home or at the office. We also realized that this arrangement could be an incentive for new employees, so we decided to keep the hybrid work arrangement indefinitely.
Glenn Cotton, President and CEO of Glenn Cotton, states that we recognize the potential for hybrid workplaces to increase staff productivity and engagement. We made it a priority at Bath Fitter to make work flexibility a priority during this pandemic. We have seen the benefits of hybrid work and actively invested in it. Hybrid work is the future, and we intend to be the forefront of this approach.
After a thorough analysis by Great Place to Work, Bath Fitter was awarded the Hybrid Work honor.. The certification is based the Bath Fitters Hybrid Work Readiness Index, and organizational workplace programs that support and enable hybrid work as determined by Great Place to Work employee surveys..
