The Bangor Daily NewsA University of Maine study has been advanced that examined how the personalities of animals can affect their mutualistic interactions with other species. This can have a significant impact on the environment. These results are fascinating because they show that every individual plays a slightly unique role in an eco-system, and this role is determined based on their individual personality, said Alessio Morelliti, an associate professor at the UMaine Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Conservation Biology.
