BIPP Permits – JCPs and ERPs

How to search for a permit

Thismap allows you to search the entire department’s GIS application for permits, exemptions and pending permits. Zoom in on the area you are interested in or search for the following: street address or project name. Permit number (numbers only, not dashes) or Department’s Range Monument.

The map will display icons at all locations related to the BIPP permits data records as you zoom in on the location. To view more information about a project, click on the icon. A pop-up window with projectinformation and permits will appear on the screen. Clicking on View will open a pop-up window that will contain projectinformation and our online document management system.

Files can also be found on OCULUSOr NEXUSThe Department’s document storage system. Click here for instructions on how to use these tools.

Notifications for future applications for permits

Register for a subscription to the DepartmentsPermit Application Subscription Service(PASS) system. This free service allows visitors to set their notification preferences. They can select multiple application types and define a geographic area of interest (by county or within a radius defined from a point selected). The PASS system will automatically send an e-mail notification to the department whenever it receives a permit request that meets the subscription criteria. The email will include the type of authorization requested and the application tracking number. You can contact the DEP district office to get updates on any application currently being reviewed.
