Bronx Times: Environmental extremism is affecting U.S. finances

Americans are sometimes forced to choose between paying their energy bill or eating enough food.

The impact of environmental extremists has caused severe damage to national and personal finances as well as international relations. This has directly led to the shock and hardships that Americans have endured from current energy prices at home and at the gas station.

Alternative energy sources are currently able to provide only 20% of the world’s energy requirements. This will not change until major technological breakthroughs occur, which won’t happen for many more years. It’s as if someone in 1776 had predicted that the automobile would be invented in 100 years and then proceeded with shooting all the horses.

Despite that fact and that timeline, the extremists have been able to successfully attack fossil fuels as well as nuclear energy without considering the damage they are causing. They seem to have no concern that they have fuelled international crises, harmed national economy and decimated family budgets.

The Biden administration’s assault on American energy independence at their request was a direct result of the dramatic rises in your energy bills and inflationary price increases in everything else. Biden smashed the Keystone XL pipeline on the first day of his reign. Biden also stopped energy development in Alaska and prohibited any further energy development on federal lands. The United States became dependent on foreign countries to meet their energy needs.

It also dramatically triggered an inflationary cycle. Every food and drink you buy, use, or eat requires energy to produce, transport, and transport to your home or store. The increase in food prices can be attributed to energy policies as well as the rising cost of gasoline.

Leftist politicians who support anti-fossilfuel policies cannot pretend ignorance of the devastating effects they have on the people. Barack Obama stated in 2008 that electricity rates would have to skyrocket under my plan. He should have stated that prices for everything else would also skyrocket under his plan.

This is not something that bureaucrats are avoiding. In 2008, Steven Chu, Energy Secretary, stated that he was trying to raise gasoline prices to Europe’s levels.

It is impossible to achieve zero emissions using current technology. To rely completely on solar and wind, even if this were possible, it would mean that as much as 20% of the U.S. territory would be covered in solar panels or wildlife-killing wind turbines. This would create an environmental disaster. Because solar panels and wind turbines are relatively short-lived, there will be additional problems with disposing of the non-biodegradable and used devices.

AWall Street JournalAnalyse reports that:

Politicians who are determined to achieve net-zero global emissions will continue to increase costs. Bank of America estimates that reaching net zero globally by 2050 would cost $150 trillion over 30 year, which is almost twice the annual gross domestic product of all countries on Earth.

International relations are being weakened by extreme environmental policies and massive inflation.

John McCain once said that Russia was a gas station disguised to be a nation. Vladimir Putin is a gift-wrapped gift from Biden’s anti-fossilfuel policies. The vast wealth it has derived from the sale of oil fuels the Kremlin’s aggressive actions toward Russia’s neighbors.

Putin is becoming more wealthy as environmental extremists reduce energy production in the West. He uses this wealth to build his military.
