Buhari redeploys Abdullahi to environment

President Muhammadu Buhari has authorized the immediate redeploying of Mohammed Abdullahi, Minister of Environment, with effect from 6th April 2022.

In a statement

Boss Mustapha, the Secretary to the Federation, is the new Minister of Environment. He was previously the Minister of State Science, Technology and Innovation.

The statement stated that the President hopes that his vast experience will be useful in his new task for the growth and development of the country.

The ministry has been led by Sharon Ikeazor (Minister of State), who was appointed in August 2019.

The politician, lawyer, and management consultant was the former executive secretary to the Pension Transitional Arrangement Directorate Directorate before he was appointed minister of environment.
