A federal court in Illinois ruled that Cook County, Illinois, may not have to pay a 68 year old former administrator for nursing of Filipino descents claims for race and national origin discrimination in violation Title VII and the Age Discrimination in Employment Act. The former administrator of Cook County Health and Hospitals System claimed that she was subjected to hostile work environments because her direct supervisor was rude and incompetent to her. She also allegedly made hostile and derogatory remarks towards her and once said that she didnt deserve to be there. The court found that the administrator was responsible for the following incidents:
