Virginia clean energy laws being defended
We at SELC work every day to improve climate action. We were there to fight the Virginia General Assembly’s attempt to repeal the Clean Car Standards, Virginia Clean Economy Act and the participation of the state in the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative. We worked with the Commonwealth’s environmental community, trade organizations, and businesses to stop these attempts to slow down Virginia’s climate progress. This is a major victory for Virginia and the region as well as our climate future.
