Sanjeev Kaushal, Haryana Chief Secretary, said Thursday that Haryana is an ideal location for new pharmaceutical businesses to flourish in state. He also stated that the state government provides various fiscal incentives through its pharmaceutical policy to attract investment in the pharma sector.
The Chief Secretary welcomed the companies that participated in the three-day-long Pharma Tech Expo-2022 here and Lab Tech Expo-2022 here. He also stated that the Haryana government, under the dynamic leadership Manohar Lal Khattar said that the government is committed to creating a business environment that is easy for investors.
The event is being organized by the state government at Chandigarhs Parade Ground Sector 17. More than 200 companies are expected to exhibit their products from April 28-April 30.
Kaushal spoke as the chief guest of the event and stated that the expo was designed to attract business opportunities for everyone. He said that such expos offer a great opportunity for participants to gain first-hand knowledge about innovations and maximize the potential for optimal utilisation of equipment.
Dr G Anupama, Chief Administrator of Trade Fair Authority of Haryana, stated that the state’s pharma exports totals around Rs 1,500 crore for 2021. Haryana is a state that is very easy to do business in. Pharma Tech Expo-2022 is being organized under the banner of Trade Fair Authority of Haryana, in collaboration with Engineering Export Promotion Council of India (EEC) and Pharma Technology Index.com Pvt Ltd. It aims to bring people from all over the world together to one destination.
