George Stephanopoulos, ABC’s executive producer, stated that Climate changeDuring an exchange with a former New Jersey Governor, there was an “existential crises”. Chris Christie spoke out about domestic oil production in the wake of Russia’s invasion Ukraine on Sunday’s edition of “This Week.”
Stephanopoulos, in a discussion on the possibility of the U.S. baning Russian oil, asked Christie if the Republicans would “forgo criticalizing” President Biden for higher gas prices if he made that decision.

“You can’t do two things at once, and you should be able. You must ban Russian oil and increase domestic production. Christie stated that Joe Biden is going through a problem because he is being held hostage by the environmental left.

The former governor of New Jersey was noted CommentsJohn Kerry, in which he stated that war could have a “profound adverse effect on the climate.” Climate envoy to the Biden administration said that he hopes Russian President Vladimir Putin will help him “stay on track” with regard to what he needs to do for climate.
“That will summarize what the far left’s view is about domestic oil production,” Christie said.
Stephanopoulos quickly responded by citing a United Nations Report that he stated that climate change was “an existential crisis” and is getting worse.

“While people are being killed?” Kerry is referring to this. Christie asked the panelists as they tried to jump in. Donna Brazile, panelist, interjected and stated that “we can do both things simultaneously.”

“We can save our planet, and we can protect the earth. Climate change is real. It’s not drill, drill drill. Our only approach is to be strategic. We need to make sure our European allies support us because it’s going get very painful,” she added, applauding Biden for his actions so far.
Christie stated earlier that it should have happened long ago in the segment on the possible oil ban. “We should have been arming Ukraine for the past year, but we didn’t.” We should have done more to increase domestic oil production. Instead, we are going backwards and Putin is holding us hostage.”
Jonathan Karl, ABC’s chief Washington correspondent, said earlier that it was “extraordinary,” that Biden was sanctioning anything but Russian oil, “the things that drive their economy.”

George, it’s amazing that Russia has been subject to all of the sanctions that have been imposed. They have been unprecedented in imposing sanctions on Russia for sanctioning everything except the things that drive our economy.
