The UN environment chief discusses whether all efforts are failing to combat climate change.

Every April 22, the entire world observes Earth Day. The goal is to raise awareness about climate changes and their effects on all nations.

This year’s theme is Investing in Our Planet. The Earth Day celebrations have been going on for over 50 years, and despite numerous warnings, scientific studies, and many agreements, not much has changed.

Are all of our efforts failing? What else can we do to make a significant investment in our planet’s future?
