Colorado Environmental Film Festival goes fully virtual for 2022

The Colorado Environmental Film Festival(CEFF) returns for its 16th Annual Iteration. This year, the festival is powered by EventiveDue to the continued presence COVID in Colorado,, takes on a full virtual form.

CEFF will run for nine days, from February 24 to March 6. The festival will feature streamings with over 90 films, live interviews with filmmakers and educational content.

The festival’s international and local films aim to raise awareness of the economic, ecological, and social impacts of environmental change that has occurred or will occur. This year’s festival features 97 films, including 13 international films, 11 national films, and multiple Colorado premieres.

You can view short and feature-length movies such as Water where once there was Brittany App directed this video. Reflection on a Walk with WaterEmmett Brennan directed. Seals and Sea Lions – Scoundrels and ScapegoatsMike Sullivan directed the film 2040directed byDamon Gamau all while relaxing at your home.

CEFF also offers a variety of educational content. CEFF for Families, CEFF for YouthAnd CEFF for Schools programming. The programming includes on-demand films, explorations and other wilderness adventures. The streaming content is great for families with children under 18 years old, and makes a great introduction to the world.

You can also explore the festival grounds. International Environmental Photography Contest & Exhibition. The gallery features images from award-winning photographs, a virtual walk through of the Serengeti led by Darrell Gulin (keynote speaker) on March 3, and many more. You can also vote for your favorite photo for $1 which will go towards the festival’s continued programming.
