Controlled Environment Systems purchases Coldroom Systems; closing 2021 with CES’s 3rd acquisition

MANSFIELD, Mass., Jan. 5, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Controlled Environment Systems, LLC(CES) is a market leader in the design and construction of special environments like cold storage facilities and metrology cleanrooms. Coldroom Systems, Inc.(CRS), a regional force for low-temp and thermal envelope construction solutions. Joining Western Environmental Corporation in April 2021JAX Cool in September 2021Controlled Environment Systems’ third acquisition in 2021 was Coldroom Systems Inc.

CRS has acquired CRS’s IMP installation expertise, CES’s project management team and underfloor heating capabilities. This acquisition continues to increase CES’s capabilities. “CES is known for its industry leading controlled environment solutions,” stated Don Roussinos,President and CEO of CES.”Coldroom provides high-quality thermal solutions, and has a great name in the industry. CRS will undoubtedly be a great fit within the StructuresCES division. Coldroom will be able to provide a geographic foothold, additional resources, enhanced capabilities, and more efficient execution of projects for our existing customers. CES will also provide more robust construction, systems and calibration resources to support Coldroom’s customer base.
