When we talk about ‘climate change’, ‘net zero’, ‘carbon’, ‘global warming’ and ‘sustainability’ we are saying that a sustainable climate matters.
Sustainable development means not taking too much from the environment that future generations will be negatively affected by our choices.
Society is expanding in an unsustainable manner. We live in the UK as if there was 2.4 planets worth of resources. We have to recognize that there is only one Earth and that we must change our ways.
Everyone must play their part as the government has committed to net zero to combat climate changes. We must change our lifestyles to reduce the greenhouse gas emissions to stop the changes getting worse. These days many of us as residents and employees are doing more, and we have a part to play too.
