After showing signs of the disease, Minister Shahab Uddin gave his sample to IEDCR on Wednesday.

According to the ministry, he is now isolated at home following his positive test result on Thursday.

After contracting the disease last year, Shahab Uddin contracted it again. He was treated at the Combined Military Hospital.

State Minister KM Khalid (with his wife) and who have recently received vaccine booster shots showed mild symptoms. They are now confined to their home after they tested positive for the virus on Wednesday.

Khalid’s two children tested positive for coronavirus previously, but the ministry reported that they returned negative results.
