Cybertrucks are NOT THERE
Although much has been written about Tesla’s Cybertruck and when it will be available, there is no telling when. However, GMC appears to have an EV Hummer available this year that instantly brings to mind Tesla’s not-here-yet Cybertruck.

Recent Review of EV Hummer by Engineer
Although the Tesla Cybertruck isn’t yet available for a review that would challenge its greenness, a recent review by GMCs EV Hummer was posted on the Engineering ExplainedYouTube channel discusses EV Hummer and makes comparisons to other vehicles.
The review included a comment about General Motors being named one of Time Magazine’s 100 Most Influential Businesses for “engineering an environmentally-friendly future” through its electric vehicle plans. This was immediately shocking. It is difficult to believe that a GMC colossus weighing in at nearly 9,000 pounds has anything to offer a greener future. It’s like giving someone a roofie, and calling it romance.
This video is informative, but also emotionally and morally challenging for car shoppers who are being shown a vehicle so bad…that they think it’s okay.
I Hate that I Love the Hummer EEV
A green take on the video
It’s hard to deny that the video is cool and would make even the most ardent ICE owners want one of these Green vehicles. It may be partly because it is a green vehicle only in name.
The key question here is whether the EV Hummer represents a future of non-green vehicles. In other words, manufacturers won’t make anything that sells. The host mentions that the EV Hummer serves as a testbed for GM’s future EV technology. If the EV Hummer is as popular as the Tesla Cybertruck—which has yet to arrive (did I mention that earlier?)How will this inspire the public to want what is truly green? Marketing knows bestright, I mean.
