Development environment: Qt Design Studio 2.3 introduces a new translation view

Design Studio 2.3 was submitted by the Qt Company. The tool is based upon the Qt Creator development environment. It is designed to improve collaboration between developers and designers. The current version features new features for both the Adobe XD Bridge (Particle Editor) and the Adobe XD Bridge (Projects in its luggage).

The 3D Particle Editor has new functionality with the update. The 3D editor now allows particle systems to be animated and visualized. Users no longer need to view the live preview using a fixed camera. Instead, they can see the animated particle system in their editor. This innovation is intended for simplifying the creation of complex systems.

Qt developers are also releasing a new Qt Bridge which supports Adobe XD (Experience Design), a vector graphics program that creates drafts of graphic interfaces to web and mobile apps. This allows drafts to be imported directly into Qt Design Studio. This allows users to access functions similar to those of other Qt bridges. Comprehensive documentationMore information about the Qt Bridge is available here.

Qt Design Studio also offers a translation view. You can edit, import and export translations to a project. The current version supports JSON for export and import. According to the blog, the development team is working to support additional file formats.

The translation view allows users the ability to generate.qm files and.ts files, and check for missing translations. The QML Translation Test runs every screen for a specific language and checks that all strings have not been left out. The test creates a report. Users can also use the form editor in order to view the results.

There are many changes. The update to version 2.3 includes options for animations in timeline, components, repeaters, and new projects following a new structure. More information about this You can find the post on Qt blog.
