BENTON Discover nature’s wetlands early in spring as the flora, fauna and plants are just beginning to awaken. To capture macroinvertebrates in the natural habitat, dip nets will be available. The one-hour program starts at 6 p.m., Thursday, March 31. Elkhart County Parks Department will host the event.

Dress for the weather and be ready for a hike

You can find directions to Benton Dam County Park at elkhartcountyparks.org.

This program is open to all ages and requires no registration. Meet at the Benton Dam parking area at River Preserve County Park on CR 31 directly across from Benton elementary school.
