Spring break is a bit of a challenge this year because of the weather.
For the first few day, it was colder than usual in the area with highs just above freezing.
The region also received a little snow.

However, Environment Canada meteorologist Natalie Hassel warns that the freeze-thaw could affect road conditions, as there are a few days that call for overnightsnow this week.
“It would be really important that people continue to take the same precautions as they have been taking, driving to road conditions and planning for things to be delayed.
She said that children who are out and about this week should be careful on the sidewalks.
Hassel also recommends putting together an emergency kit as the summer approaches.
