Environment Canada issues a weather advisory for the region, snow causing dangerous driving conditions

Environment Canada has issued a weather advisory for many areas of southern Ontario, including London,Middlesex and Huron-Perth.

Snowfall is expected to start Friday morning and continue throughout the day.

There have been several accidents in the region Friday due to slippery roads and streets. However, none of these have been very serious. Drivers should be aware of winter driving conditions and plan accordingly.

Many school bus routes throughout the region were cancelled or delayed Friday due to snow.

There are also delays and cancellations. Middlesex and Elgin CountiesAlthough some of these are weather-related, others are not.
