Environment Canada issues warning that temperatures are set to plummet Tuesday night – FortSaskOnline.com

Environment Canada has issued an Extreme Cold Warning for the region.  

Much of northern and east-central Alberta, including Fort Saskatchewan, Sherwood Park, Edmonton, and surrounding areas, could see wind chill values near 40 C to 45 C Tuesday (Jan.18) evening.  

The extreme wind chill is expected to improve early Wednesday afternoon.
