Mixed weather in Kamloops

Kamloops will experience mixed weather, with slightly cooler than average temperatures. However, it is expected that the weather will improve by the weekend.

According to Environment CanadaMonday will bring cloudy skies and temperatures of 18 C, with 40% chance of showers in afternoon.

Temperatures will drop to 5 C Monday night.

Environment Canada predicts a sunny Tuesday with a high of 16 C — four degrees below the average high of 21 C. Tuesday evening could bring rainfall, with temperatures lowering to 7 C.

Wednesday is expected to be the coldest of the week with a high of 14 C. Showers are possible throughout the day with cloudy skies continuing into Wednesday night.

Environment Canada says that temperatures are expected to rise towards the end of this week.

A mixture of sun and clouds is expected for Thursday and Friday. Highs of 18 C and 19, along with highs of 19 C, are forecasted. Temperatures are expected to drop to an average of 8 C to 9 C on Thursday and Friday night.

A quick look at the May weekend suggests that there will be a continuing mix of sun and clouds and seasonal average temperatures around 21 C.
