Environment Canada predicts wind chill values to plummet Tuesday evening – FortSaskOnline.com

Environment Canada has issued an Extreme Cold Warning for the region.  

Parts of northern and central Alberta, including Fort Saskatchewan, Sherwood Park, Morinville and surrounding areas, could see wind chill values of 40 C to 45 C Tuesday (Feb.1) evening.  

The wind chill values are expected increase during the day Wednesday. 
  
Frostbite can form on exposed skin in minutes, especially if there is windchill. This applies to both pets and people.
