Environment Canada warns that lots of snow is on the way to London.

After days of cold temperatures that have led to cold weather advisories for the London region, it is now being advised to be ready for another kind of winter wallop: A snow storm.

Environment Canada has issued a winter storm warning for the London area.

According to the weather agency, snow will begin Wednesday afternoon and continue through Friday. During this time, snowfalls of between 20 cm and 30cm could occur.

Environment Canada warned that accumulation of snow could lead to difficult travel conditions and reduce visibility.

However, there will be lots of sunshine today and a high of 3°C before the snowfall.
