Environment Canada’s travel advisory remains in force. Snowfall expected to continue

Environment Canada has issued a winter travel advisory for Sunday. More snow is expected.

This evening, snowfall can reach up to 10 cm.

Wind gusts of 60 km/h can cause reduced visibility and slippery roads.

The advisory covers a range of areas, including:

  • Sault Ste. Marie – St. Joseph Island
  • Espanola – Killarney

Some areas north of the city have been issued a snowfall warning, including:

  • Agawa – Lake Superior Park
  • Searchmont – Montreal River Harbour – Batchawana Bay
  • Wawa – Pukaskwa Park

Snowfall in those areas can be heavy at times and will continue throughout Sunday, with snowfall of up to 10 cm by the evening.
