Environment ripe for investment in Punjab: CM

LAHORE:Chief Minister Sardar Uzman Buzdar stated on Monday that Pakistan and United Arab Emirates (UAE), had historical fraternal relationships, while the UAE’s cooperation was commendable in the development Pakistan.

He stated that the government of UAE appreciated cooperation in improving education, healthcare, and other areas.

To provide direct access to the institutions involved, the chief ministers facilitation Centre was created. He stated that these measures are boosting investment in the region as impediments have been removed.

FUNDS: Rs8.1 million has been released by the Punjab government for treatment of liver transplant patients and cancer. According to Monday’s handout, Rs3million was released to Muhammad Ismail from Rajanpur District to treat bone-marrow diseases at the Armed Forces Bone Marrow Transplant Centre Rawalpindi. A sum of Rs2.5 Million was released to treat Muhammad Farhan, an anemia patient who was being treated at this institution. Meanwhile, Rs2.6 Million was given to Haji Ashiq Hussain (Derekha Ghazi Khan), for treatment of Haji Ashiq Hussain (Pakistan Kidney and Liver Institute), Lahore). The CM declared that healing the wounds and suffering of humanity was a noble cause. He also pledged to provide resources for those patients who were in need.

MOTHER LANGUAGE – The chief minister stated that language was more than a way to express human emotions. It is also a sign of national identity. In his message to International Mother Language Day, he stated that the promotion and protection of mother tongue is a vital need. The importance of mother tongue cannot be denied in this digital age. He maintained that language gives a nation its identity and that protecting the mother tongue is a social responsibility for all of us. He claimed that children learning in their mother tongues had a positive impact on their mental development. This was in addition to the fact that mother tongues are a national identity and have a valuable cultural legacy. He noted that every word and phrase in a mother tongue contains national culture, traditions, and spiritual experiences. He said that language was a social skill that should be passed on to the next generations.

He stated that the mother tongue is an effective tool for preserving and promoting cultural heritage.

TAKES NOTE: The chief minister became aware of the death caused by a youth who was in close contact with the hanging wire of an electrical wire in Kasur. He requested a report from Inspector of Police. Usman Buzdar extended his sincere sympathy and condolences for the victims’ family. The chief minister ordered that the responsible parties be punished for this negligence and that zero tolerance be applied to kite-flying incidents.
