Environmental Council Screens Documentary on Pollution

On March 27The Door County Environmental Council (dcec.wi.org), will host a screening of Sold down the RiverA documentary film that depicts the ongoing contaminationPrivate wells, rivers, and lakes Kewaunee County. The film will also be shown at Kress Pavilion, 7845 Church St., Egg Harbor, and via Zoom.

Following the film, members of Kewaunee Cares were notified. Lynn and Nancy UteschThe film’s stars will lead a DiscussionRegarding their efforts and StrugglesFaced with local CAFOs, the Wisconsin DNR, and a pending extension permit Kinnard Farms. Wisconsinite Karen Erbach LawlorThe documentary was directed by her. She was awarded the CINE Golden Eagle Award as a director for her film. LisaPBS aired the episode entitled “Escape from Hell”, which was broadcast on September 24, 2005.
