Ganga Qwest will be held to raise awareness about clean environment

Ganga Quest will be hosted by the Ministry of Jal Shakti of the Government of India. It aims to increase public interest and create awareness about water, environment and conservation of rivers. The State Mission for Clean Ganga Urban Development and Housing Department of Jharkhand will host the program.

 

The registration process for Ganga Quest 2022 has been initiated by the Government of India, Ministry of Jal Shakti. It was launched under the Namami Gange Project. Anyone who is interested can visit the link provided by department to register online and participate in the quest. The Final Quest will be held on June 5, the Day for World Environment Day. It will include the 1st to 3rd place winners, as well as the weekly winners.

This quest is open to all students and adults over the age 10 In the first category, students from class VIII and up will be participating. The second category will include students in grades 9-12. In the third category, anyone can join, even if they are senior citizens.

 

The registration process will begin on 22 March 2022 and will continue until 22 May 2022. This will be the last day of the online quiz. The World Health Day on 7 April 2022 saw the online quiz go live. The online quiz will close on May 22. The World Environment Day will be celebrated with a live quiz on June 5, and the names of the winners of the quiz will be published.

 

After Jharkhand’s top performance in Ganga Quest 2022, it is important that more people from the state participate in this quest. Shri Vinay Kumar Choubey, Secretary, Urban Development and Housing has previously directed all the Deputy Commissioners and Municipal Commissioners to take part in this quest. A letter was sent to the Department of Education and Higher Education urging it to ensure that the quest has a maximum number of participants. Amit Kumar (Director, State Urban Development Agency) has also urged people to participate in the quest and gain a lot of information.

 

It is interesting to note that GangaQuest 2021, where 11 million people from 113 nations registered, saw a record 1,10 11,111 registrations from Jharkhand. In the final results, live quiz in grade three of DPS Bokaro’s 12th was declared the winner. Rishi Divyakirti, student, was the winner, while Praveer Bokaro, fourth grade, was declared the second champion at an international level.
