Environment hiring levels in the railway industry rose in December 2021

This latest figure was higher then the 20.3% of companies hiring for jobs in the environment a year ago, but it was lower than the 45.2% figure in November 2021.

In December 2021, the rate of all job opportunities that were connected to environment grew to 1.9% with new job advertisements linking to the topic.

This latest figure was the highest recorded monthly figure in the last year. It’s a significant increase from the 0.3% of new jobs that were related to environment in the same month a year back.

GlobalData, who provided the data for this article, identified the environment as a key disruptive force that will affect companies in the next few years. Companies that excel in these areas are better prepared for the future and better equipped to handle unforeseen challenges.

The data analysis revealed that railway equipment supply, service and product companies are currently hiring for environmental jobs at a lower rate than the average for all companies in GlobalData’s job database. In December 2021, the average among all companies was 3.7%.
