Knauss of Alabama finds the right environment in Simpson | Sports

(Council Bluffs), The Abraham Lincoln senior class will be full of college basketball talent next year.

Josh Dix will play Division I at Iowa while Jamison Gruber will play Division II at Nebraska.Kearney. Classmate JR Knauss will play Division III at Simpson.

Knauss stated that he loves the location and spoke to KMA Sports on Fridays Upon Further Revision. It’s located right near Des Moines and just 45 minutes from Ames. Their academics are strong. After you graduate, they offer the top three highest pay rates for graduates.

Knauss, who stands 6 feet 4 inches, performed admirably in his role with Lynx throughout his career. He averaged 5.8 point, 4.9 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game.

Knauss stated that it started with Simpson (head coach Brad Bjorkgren), talking to me at an AAU tourney. He’s been showing me a lot interest and being passionate about me. I loved the place and went up there to visit.

Knauss was also interested in Bellevue, Morningside, and finally chose the American Rivers Conference school at Indianola.

Knauss stated that I wanted to play college basketball when I was in high school. It’s been a dream of mine to play at the next stage. It was an amazing experience to compete with (Dix) and Gruber through high school. They bring so many things to the court and are great leaders. It will really help the next level to compete with them.
