Today, urban-gro was engaged as the lead architect and engineer for the construction of its Busy Vertical Farm in Perry County, Kentucky.

Land Betterment is renovating the Willard Elementary School that it bought in April 2021. The school closed in 2018 and was consolidated into the West Perry Elementary School. Land Betterments Betterment Harvest division are in the final stages preparing the building, and its 3.7 acres, to be repurposed as a Busy Vertical Farm. This is a state of the art Ag-tech plant-propagation facility.

Urban-gro has extensive experience with controlled environment agriculture. They will ensure that the project components and design meet the highest quality standards. This includes room specific ventilation, 2nd generation LED lighting systems and specific racking. It allows for flexibility in the production of propagation while focusing upon plant performance and efficiency.
