“You are the most unique thing on this amazing planet.

“Most original wonders aren’t ‘wonderful’ anymore because they’ve been destroyed or left behind in ruins,” ITV star said.

“This letter is meant to tell you that my heart is full of love and that I will do all I can to make sure you see all the wonders that our world has to give,” the mother wrote.

“I want you to see all the new things and make memories that will last a lifetime.

“It is sad to think that some things are only alive in stories, photos, and memories of other people. Will you be able to see the reindeers and polar bears? It’s not too late for the story to be rewritten. I want to help you see the world in all its glory, with all the tiny islands and beautiful plants and all the amazing creatures.

“I’m sorry we have known for so much that our planet is overheating due to our actions. We are sorry that the ice is melting, and the seas rising. It is a sad fact that millions of people are being forced to leave their homes by climate change.

“Sorry, but our planet has been the hottest in human life’s short history. We are sorry that plastic in the oceans will soon weigh more than fish unless we do something urgent. We are sorry that we believe it is okay to dump rubbish on the ground.

“Sorry we are not kind to our planet – It’s the only one and we should care for it as much as I look after you.”

Laura has pledged that she will do anything to make her planet’s future brighter.
