The Green New Deal of the socialists and progressives is a fraud. It does nothing to curb China’s pollution, which is the largest polluter in the world, nor to reduce India and Russia’s emissions. It encourages more carbon emissions by calling for less nuclear power, which is an energy source that produces very little or no carbon emissions.
Additionally, cutting U.S. Energy Union jobs and imposing all kinds of red tape on oil and gas companies will result in higher energy and gas prices for all races and ethnicities. It is also immoral to make our nation dependent on dictatorial regimes, such as Venezuela, or Iran, which execute homosexuals and chant Death for America.
I believe we can both protect the environment, our economy, moral integrity, and security without such ineffective, harmful and unhelpful policies like the Green New Deal.
