Meet Eco Africa’s Chris Ilems

Chris Ilems is my name. I have a degree as an accountant and a master’s in business administration.

Before I joined Channels Television, in 2014, my previous job was at Radio Corporation of Nigeria. Since joining Channels Television, I have perfected my skills in TV presentation.

The experience has been amazing as it afforded me the opportunity to travel across the country spotlighting the beauty of Nigeria’s diversity. I gained insight from my eyewitness reporting experience as a presenter and producer, and was able to see how infrastructure deficits affect local people’s mentality.

I love the outdoors and exploring nature as much as I enjoy indoor activities like spending time with family. I believe that “No one can know it all”. As such, I am open to learning, unlearning and relearning.

This is why being a part of the Eco Africa team is a major move as it affords me an opportunity to learn even more and contribute to preserving the environment.

Channels TV is a DW partner.
