Michigan Environmental Health and Drinking Water Information System. (MiEHDWIS).

The Michigan Environmental Health and Drinking Water Information System is a multiyear project that modernizes many of the existing permitting, licensing and compliance information systems in the Drinking Water and Environmental Health Division into one web-based application.

MiEHDWIS aims to improve the communication between Michigan’s public drinking waters supplies and EGLE. It also aims to increase data transparency and facilitate collaboration between EGLE personnel and local health department staff supporting environmental programs. Many MiEHDWIS functions are still being developed. They will eventually be available for regulated entities (campgrounds and public swimming pools, water supplies, etc.), for permit application, license renewals and uploading reports and documentation.
