Nagpur: Crocodile saved from the drain

A Nagpur forest official reported that a fully grown Crocodile was found in a drain and was saved by forest officials on Sunday.

The crocodile was seen at Patrakar Colony Maharajbagh, and Ghat Road in the past few hours. A Kolhapur-trained team was sent to track and rescue it, Nagpur DCF Bharat Singh Hada reported.

“It was saved from a Maharajbagh nullah after two cages were put up to trap it. He said that the crocodile was now being transferred to the Transit Treatment Centre in Seminary Hills at the forest department.
