On Wednesday, former Real Housewives of Atlanta Star NeNe Leakes sued Bravo and Andy Cohen, claiming that they created a hostile and racist work environment during her seven seasons with the show. The suit was filed by The Hollywood Reporter54-year-old Leakes says she complained about years of racist remarks made by former co-star Kim ZolciakBiermann. But that only Leakes (who is Black) faced consequences for her complaints, including being allegedly kicked off the show in 2020. Leakes, whose legal name Linnethia Monique Leakes, starred in Real Housewives of Atlanta From 2008 to 2020, her rich bitch quips as well as her vibrant selection of wigs won viewers over. Offscreen, however, Leakes claims that Zolciak Biermann (43), made frequent stereotypical remarks about Black castmates and racist comments about Leakes’ home. She allegedly called Leakes’s home a “roach nest” and said words to the effect.
