NHPR Energy/Environment Reporter - Radio Ink

Mara Hoplamazian, the New Hampshire Public Radio energy and environment reporter, has been appointed. Hoplamazian, who joined NHPR 2021, will anchor NHPRs by Degrees climate reporting initiative.

We have the best tools for combating climate change: awareness and dialogue. Mara’s journalism is crucial, not only to inform, but also to raise awareness about what is at risk and what we can do to reduce it, said Dan Barrick (News Director).

Hoplamazian joined NHPR in the role of the Barbara and Dick Couch Fellow. Hoplamazian was an investigative reporting intern at The Sacramento Bee before joining NHPR. He also worked as a media intern at Smithsonian Institution.
